Paine and Partners raises $893M for food and agribusiness investment

Paine & Partners announced in January the final closing of Paine & Partners Capital Fund IV, L.P. at $893 million in capital commitments, more than the $850 million target.

            Paine & Partners has experience in the seafood sector with investments in Scanbio Group, a Norwegian firm producing fishmeal and oil byproducts from salmon farming byproducts, as well as investments in aquaculture companies in North America and South America.  The Capital Fund iV will focus on seafood and aquaculture, as well as other forms of agribusiness.
