Fish Vet Group appoints new Aquatic Veterinarian

The Fish Vet Group (FVG) has announced the appointment of a new Aquatic VeterinarianDavid Marancik, to their US operationDavid will provide clinical and veterinary services, as well as being responsible for managing the Company’s diagnostic laboratories which offer full autopsy, histopathology and molecular diagnostic capabilities.

David has a Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Iowa State University and a five-year Combined Residency and PhD in Aquatic Pathology from the University of Georgia. Before joining FVG, David worked at the National Center for Cool and Cold Water Aquaculture, where he specialized in research on fish immunology and biomarkers of disease. 

Explaining what attracted him to FVG, David commented: “The aquaculture industry is very dynamic and rapidly expanding.  FVG has developed an infrastructure that’s all encompassing in aquatic health and it is perfectly positioned to evolve with the industry.”
